William "Bill" Dale Wilson

William “Bill” Dale Wilson, 77 years old, of Trumann Arkansas passed away on February 25th  2024, in Jonesboro Arkansas. He was born on July 21st, 1946, to the late Buford and Viola Wilson in Payneway, Arkansas. He joined the military at a young age and spent most of his career serving his country in the Navy. He earned many honors and metals during his 20 year Navy career. His primary position was a Boiler Technician.  After retiring from the Navy, he found joy in fishing, hunting, Razorback Football, and cooking out with his family and friends. He made sure no one went hungry when he was around.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frank Wilson and Don Wilson.

His true pride and joy has always been his family. He is survived by his loving wife Hattie, of 37 years, and his children; Keith Cooper and wife Missy, Michael Wilson and wife Shannon, Kathleen Henderson and husband Justin, Kim Merriman and  husband Russell, Roxanne Jones, and Viola Wilson, as well as his siblings, Russell and wife Sharon Wilson and Rita Weltner. He also had 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews all of whom he adored.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Sullivan Funeral Care Chapel on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with services following at 2:00 p.m. Internment will at Providence Cemetery with Military Honors.
