William “Jack” Warwick, 74, of Judsonia, formerly of Aberdeen, passed away November 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 26, 1945 at Clarendon to the late William and Emma Vandergriff Warwick.
Jack was a retired riverboat captain and was a Christian who loved the lord. If you ever met him, you knew that he was never shy about telling you about Jesus Christ. He loved talking and visiting with people. He was a proud dad and pawpaw and loved his sweet dog, Patches, who was always by his side.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife of 27 years, Mary Lou Short Cooper; four brothers, Charles and Kenneth Warwick, Jimmy and Roger Gochenour; as well as four sisters, Helen Townsend, Joyce Mitchusson, Sue Boblet, and Evelyn Gochenour.
He is survived by three children, Kevin Warwick (Bridget) of Washinton, Lisa Hamm (Robert) of Judsonia, and Keith Warwick of Judsonia; ten grandchildren, Chaz Warwick, Paige Layrock (Andrew), Kaila Kilpatrick (Jon), Josh Keeney, Parker Hamm, Kirby Keeney, Macie Fritts, Gabriella, Amelia, and Caleb Warwick; four brothers, Billy Warwick of Washington, John Gochenour (Brenda) of Texas, Donald Warwick of Texas, and David Warwick of Texas; two sisters, Mary Baser (Robert) of Arkansas and Shirley South (Russell) of Texas; as well as many extended family and friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Life service at the family home, 120 Dayton Drive in Judsonia, 6-8pm Tuesday, December 3, 2019. In lieu of flowers and food, contributions may be made to the Searcy Paws Inn – No Kill Animal Shelter.
