William "Zach" Zachery Godwin

William Zach Zachery Godwin , age 15, of Sheridan, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born March 12, 1996 in Pine Bluff, a son of William L. Godwin and April L. Nickolson Hudson. Zach was a tenth grade student at Sheridan High School and attended Tree of Life Ministries in Sheridan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud riding, motor cross and motorcycles.

Survivors include his parents, William L. and Tonya Godwin of Sheridan, April Nickolson Hudson of Clinton; sisters, Lauren Godwin of Sheridan and Alexyss Hudson of Clinton; grandparents, James and Shannon Godwin of Sheridan, Charlie and Martha Nickolson of Clinton, Carroll and Chris Bridges of Pine Bluff; great grandparents, Earnest and Vina Yarbrough of Pine Bluff; uncle, Bryan and Wendy Godwin of Sheridan; aunt, Christi Nickolson of Conway.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan with Brother Wade Totty and Brother Scotty Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Rison. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at First Landmark Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Cody Strom, Brandon Stratton, Bryan Godwin, Larry Lunsford, George Nickolson and Henry Lunsford. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
