William Newton Earvin

William Newton Earvin, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at the age of 83. He was born on June 12, 1941, and spent his life surrounded by family and friends who cherished his dedication and warmth.

William was a man of many passions, dedicating his time to hobbies that brought him joy. He found solace in fishing and hunting, enjoying the tranquility and connection to nature that these activities provided. His commitment to his faith was evident in his regular attendance at church, where he drew strength and community. William also took great pride in mowing his lawns, finding satisfaction in the care and upkeep of his home.

William is survived by his loving wife Edna Fay Earvin, who stood by his side through life's journey. He was a devoted father to his daughter Lois Baldwin, son Billy Earvin and wife Tina, and daughter Linda Freeman. He was also a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 28 great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild,  and many nieces and nephews, each of whom enriched his life immeasurably. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews, all of whom carry a part of his spirit.

William now rests alongside his deceased family members, including his father Johnny Issac Earvin, his mother Louis Earvin, his sister Francis Brown, and his brothers David Erwin and James Arthur Erwin. Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.

As we remember William Newton Earvin, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and the simple pleasures that he deeply valued. His legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
