Wanda Janiece Marrow, age 90, of Corinth, MS, formerly of Woodlawn went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born February 6, 1931 in Dover, Arkansas to the late W.T. Karnes and Marie Simmons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Melvin “Mel” Marrow, two daughters, Deborah Kay Marrow Doler and Dianne Marrow Aud, two sisters, Laura Morris and Ellen Hess, and one brother JB Karnes. She was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Marrow was a caregiver and loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her sons, Gene Marrow and his wife Phyllis of Corinth, MS, Tim Marrow of Woodlawn, son-in-law William Aud of Woodlawn, two sisters, Margaret Slocom, and Peggy Cartiller, two brothers, Tom Karnes and Robert Karnes, grandchildren, Elisha Jones (Chad), Jason Aud (Jamie), Melissa Marrow, Alan Aud (Missy), Angel Cagel (Brett), Adam Marrow (Britney), and Brandon Marrow, great-grandchildren, Conner, Caden, Tristan, Evan, Macie, Lilly, Jet, Halie, Bailey, Seth, Bentley, Wyatt, Baylee and Riley.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jackie Richardson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
