Vivian Kaye Rogers

Vivian Kaye Rogers age 58 of Rison, died, Monday August 11, 2008 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born August 18, 1949 in Pine Bluff, a daughter of the late Murry and Josie Edwards Ratliff. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and member of Corner Stone Church of God. She was also preceded in death by; six sisters, Lorene Green, Willie Green, Eugenia King, Francis Jenkins, Ruby Taylor and Annie Cox.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband Eddie Rogers of Rison, whom she married on January 7, 1965 in New Madrid, Missouri; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Amy Rogers, Scotty and Becky Rogers, and Steven Rogers, all of Rison; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Kaye and Jimbo Oglesby of Wausau, Florida; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Buddy and Carolyn Ratliff of Houston, Texas, Steve and Louise Ratliff of Rison, Sonny Ratliff of Rison; six grandchildren, Alissa Rogers, Blaine Rogers, Savannah Oglesby, Paige Rogers, Josie Olgesby, and Brooklyn Burnett

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Rison with Reverend Jonathan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
