Virginia Lorene Steitler

Virginia Lorene Steitler, age 53, of Leola went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 27, 2021. She was born October 9, 1967 in Benton, Arkansas to Eugene Thornberry and Elizabeth Addie Thornberry. Mrs. Steitler was a Pentecostal and will always be remembered as a loving wife and caring mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years Glen Steitler, children, Mary Stephenson and her husband Rick, Walter Steitler and his wife Chasity, Brandi and Elizabeth Watt, Tasha Hartman, Taylor Tanner and Jonathan Baker, siblings, Buck and Ruby Terry, Steve and Janet Reed, Kenny Thornberry and numerous grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rick Stephenson, Forest Simmerman, Mike Sellers, Johnny Scarberry, Jr., Chris Farnan and Steve Davis.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Danny Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.

Per the family's request face coverings are required for the visitation and funeral service.
