Virginia Lorene Chidester

Virginia Lorene Chidester age 66, of Malvern, Arkansas, formerly of Poyen, Arkansas, died October 19, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 1, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri to Wilburn Benjamin Evans and Margarette Virginia Richardson. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband Elmer Ira Chidester. Survivors include her four sons, Chris (Michelle) of Sikeston, Missouri, Randy (Stacie) of Glen Rose, Arkansas, Kirk (Penny) of Poyen, Arkansas, Cornelius (Clara) of England, Arkansas, one daughter, Glendola Walters of Prattsville, Arkansas; six brothers, J. W. Evans, Daniel Evans, Johnny Richardson, Calvin Walton, Danny Walton and Connie Walton; two sisters, Ann Call and Sharon Lane; fifteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Friday, October 21, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Hopewell Cemetery in Carthage, Arkansas with Chaplain Scott Martin officiating under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
