Virginia Faye Baker

Virginia Faye Brewer Baker, 68, of Kensett, Arkansas passed away on December 6, 2022 at her home in Kensett. She was born on November 5, 1954 in Searcy, Arkansas to Zelma “Bobbie” Brewer Harris and Lester “Buddy” Dean Walker. Faye, as she was lovingly called, loved to complete jigsaw puzzles. She never missed watching her soap operas every day. Faye loved to cook and to help raise her grandchildren.

Faye is survived by her three devoted sons; Nolan (Antoinette) Baker, Terrence Baker, and William (Amanda) Baker. Her grandchildren; Darion Baker, Kieran Baker, Kaidon Lumpkin, Alexis Baker, Mylek (McKenzie) Baker, Makayla Baker, KaLeiAnna Baker, Brayden Roussel, William Roussel, and Adriana Baker. Her great grandchildren; Korin Baker, Kohen Baker, and Khari Wilson. Her sisters; Janet (Bo) Johnson, Sheila Brewer, and Sherry Brewer. Her special cousins and friends, Gertrude Medlock, Kay Richardson, Alice Williams, Jannett Baker, Martha Chatmon, and Dorothy Berry. Faye is preceded in death by her husband and father of her sons, Nolan Baker Sr., her parents; Zelma Harris and Lester Walker, and her brothers; Timothy Brewer and Bobby Chatman.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Sullivan Funeral Care with Pastor Fred Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Crow Cemetery. Arrangements by Sullivan Funeral Care & Crematory (501) 742-3621.
