Vincent Schreck, 83, of Beebe, passed away November 23, 2019 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born October 9, 1936 at Tipton, Missouri to the late Andrew and Adela Knipp Schreck.
Mr. Schreck was raised in Tipton, Missouri, later going on to serve in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a hardworking and talented businessman who lived life to its fullest. He was loving, caring, giving and had a great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Gerke Schreck on August 3, 1982; as well as one great grandchild, Winstyn Schreck.
He later married Helen Elizabeth Schreck December 10, 1994 at Wynne; she survives. He is also survived by five sons he fathered with Martha, Gerald Schreck of Cordova, TN, Vince Schreck (Rebecca) of Jonesboro, Steve Schreck (Tonya) of Harrisburg, Michael Schreck (Melanie) of Lenexa, KS, and Ted Schreck (Anna) of Southaven, MS; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. After marrying his second wife, he was blessed to become the patriarch to her family including a daughter and four sons, Mary Caldwell (Mike) of Cabot, Norman Long, Jr. (Peggy) of Beebe, Thomas Long (Laura) of Sherwood, James Long of Searcy, and John Long of Ward; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Shirley Engelbart and Mary Lou Westermier.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church in Searcy, Arkansas with a Mass following at 11:00 a.m. The Rite of Committal will be celebrated at 3pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at St. Andrew Cemetery in Tipton, MIssouri.
If you would like to make a memorial offering in lieu of flowers, they may be offered to St. James Catholic Church in Searcy, Arkansas.
