Verlon Don Morgan

Verlon Morgan, 85, of McCrory, passed away January 14, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy.  He was born  January 6, 1933 at Tupelo, Arkansas to the late Don and Mary Bolden Morgan.
He attended the Baptist Church and loved the Lord.  He farmed for a living, but loved to tell stories most of all.  He loved flowers and had a green thumb.  He was also an awesome cook and taught many of the nieces and nephews how to cook.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Cloyes Morgan; and two sisters, Christeen Morrison and Rosalee Curnutt.
He is survived by one sister, Flossie Watkins and husband James of McRae; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
