Vera Crutchfield

Vera Faye Fuell Crutchfield, age 80, of Prattsville, died Monday, October 25, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. She was born March 25, 1930 to the late George H. and Daisy Fuell. Mrs. Crutchfield was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville where she sang in the choir for many years. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. Mrs. Crutchfield was preceded in death by a brother, John Fuell, two sisters, Margaret Crutchfield and Evelyn Pulliam; and one grandson, Benjamin Crutchfield.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years; James Crutchfield, son; Wayne (Pam) Crutchfield, daughters; Sharon (Brad) Warren, Denise (Dean) Cupit, all of Prattsville and Lorraine (Doyle) Otwell of Malvern; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three brothers, George H. Fuell Jr., Harold Fuell, both of Prattsville, and Ronald Fuell of Sheridan, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville with Brother Neal Pumphrey and Brother Brad Warren officiating. Interment will be at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be 6 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.
