Velma D. Jones

Velma Jones age 64 of Rison, died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born October 5, 1945 in Rison, a daughter of the late John Frank Jones and Nettie Eithel Roberts Jones. Miss. Jones retired from the Cleveland County Nursing Home and was a private sitter. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mae Hopper and Juanita Frankum.

Miss. Jones is survived by three sisters, Louise Trusler of Danville, Illinois, Peggy Jones of Rison, Diane Bradshaw of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Frank Jones of Dallas, Texas, Wade Jones of Leola; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Trinity Faith with Reverend Mike Cottrell and Reverend Adam Scully officiating. The family requests that no flowers be send.
