Tracy Lynn (Mathis) Vest

Tracy Mathis Vest, 52, of Kensett, passed away January 10, 2020 at her residence.  She was born October 9, 1967 in Searcy.
Tracy graduated from Searcy High School in 1986 and received her Associates Degree from ASU – Searcy.  She was a member of the Kensett Church of Christ.  She enjoyed crafting of all kinds including woodworking and painting as well as gardening.   The thing she enjoyed most of all was being a mother to her beloved son.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Kennith Mathis; one sister, Kimberly Jo Mathis; her maternal grandmother, Norma Cone; and paternal grandparents, Bert and Johnye Mathis.
She married Ronald Vest June 1, 1995 at Searcy who survives.  She is also survived by her son, Kennith Oakley Vest of Kensett; mother, Betty Jo Sutherland Mathis of Searcy; one sister, Kimberly Donna (Richard) of Searcy and brother, James Brian Mathis also of Searcy.
Visitation will be 1 until 2 pm Tuesday, January 14 at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel.  Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Salem City Cemetery, Salem, Arkansas.
