Tracy Veorster

November 13, 1969 — July 21, 2016

Tracy Veorster, age 46 of Watson Chapel went to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 21, 2016. Mr. Veorster was born November 13, 1969 in Stuttgart, a son of Henry and Shirley Houser Veorster. He was a 1988 graduate of Kingsland High School and a member of Double Wells Assembly of God Church where he loved worshiping the Lord. He enjoyed being outdoors; hunting and softball. Tracy loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Harmon Brown, Sue and Jack Ramsey and Arthur Veorster.
Survivors include his wife of six years, Margo Davis Veorster of Watson Chapel; parents, Henry and Shirley Veorster of Kingsland; grandmother, Bobbie Brown of Fordyce; son, Jacob Veorster of Marion; daughters, Hope Dunlap and husband, Dylan of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Christy Essary of Lamar; grandsons, Lucas and Dusty Essary; brother, Wade Veorster and wife, Sherra of Kingsland; nieces, Heather Cranford and husband, Nick, Kelsey Lephiew and husband, Robert, Haley Veorster; nephews, Taylor Smith, Dillon Smith and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Double Wells Assembly of God in Grapevine with Reverend Mike Cottrell and Reverend Mack Milner officiating. Interment will follow at Kingsland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers are Don Evans, Brother Danny Wilkerson, Brother Mack Milner, Rod Ritchie, Tommy Bryant, Charlie Watt and Jason Chapman; honorary pallbearers are Larry Ritchie and Billie Joe Veorster. Funeral arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
