Thomas Standridge

Thomas "Tommy" Standridge, age 64, of Rowell, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Mr. Standridge was born in Wilmot, Arkansas, on June 26, 1950, a son to the late Utah Standridge and Lillian Price Standridge. He attended Center Missionary Baptist Church. Hunting and fishing were some of Mr. Standridge's favorite hobbies, but his true passion was family time and his grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Standridge is preceded in death by one brother, James "Sonny" Standridge. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda French Standridge of 41 years, whom he married February 24, 1973; one son, Jerry Handly and wife Jennifer of Pansy; one daughter Kelly Stone and husband Seth of Watson Chapel; one brother, Ronnie Standridge and wife Ginger of Collins; one sister, Alice Jane Anderson of Burton, Michigan; four grandchildren, Rebecca Pillstrom and husband Josh, Charlie Handly, Macy Belle Stone, and Marlee Kate Stone; and one great grandchild, McKynzie Grace Pillstrom. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2014 at Center Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Doney Blackerby and Brother Howard Loetsher, with burial to follow in Rowell Cemetery. Pallbearers are Billy Wayne Reed, Billy Bates, Danny Jacks, Jerry Pennington, Don Montgomery, Brian Stover, Bobby Parker and Chris Wilson; honorary pallbearers, Kenneth Roberts, Allen Smith, William Hamilton and James Morgan. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center Missionary Baptist Church.
