Thomas Joe Jones, 71, of Kensett, passed away December 24, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 15, 1944 at Drummond, Tennessee to the late Edward Daniel and Ruby Pearl Jones.
Prior to retiring as a Yard Foreman at McCoy’s Lumber, Mr. Jones was a fish farmer around the Lonoke area. He was a caring father, grandfather, and husband who will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Jane Francis Jones; one sister, Wanda Jones; and one brother, Ray Jones.
He married Bobbie Browning Jones March 12, 1964 at Marked Tree, Arkansas; she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Lucky Jones (Carol) and Tommy Jones (Karen) all of Kensett; three daughters, Sandy Edge (Allen) of Kensett, Stella Kittler (James) of Ward; and Ruby Toledo of Jacksonville; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six brothers and one sister as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Memorial services are 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30 at First Baptist Church of Kensett with Pastor Joe Clement officiating.
