Terry R. Johnson

Terry R. Johnson, age 59 of Rison, died, Friday, September 9, 2011 at his home. He was born January 8, 1952 in St. Petersburg, Florida, a son of the late Ralph Dietz and Velma Dietz. Mr. Johnson served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a truck driver for Welsco Welding Supply Company and a Baptist.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Sherri Lynn Reynolds Johnson whom he married on June 13, 1992; two sons, Cody Ray Johnson and Zachary William Johnson, all of Rison; daughter, Desiree Alicia Rodriguez (Amador) of Utah; two brothers, Gary Johnson, Ralph Dietz (Janice) of Illinois; two sisters, Carol Rogers of Illinois, Sharon Munzo (Jim) of Missouri; two grandchildren, Xavier and Charleigh Rodriguez.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011, at Prosperity Cemetery with Brother Bob Long officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Banks, Lonnie Standridge, Raymond Cummings, Mike Springfield, Chris Springfield, Jimmy Smith and Jim Cummings.
