Terry Lee Foster, 64, Retired Master Sergeant, member of the 212th Signal Battalion, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 29, 2014. Mr. Foster was born January 27, 1950, in Yakima, Washington, a son of the late J. B. and Catherine Foster Maggard. He was reared and received his education in Yakima. Mr. Foster joined the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He retired from the Army after 24 years of service. He also worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal for 28 years before retiring in 2013. Left to Cherish his memory are his wife, Maudie Virginia Wooldridge Foster, whom he married on October 7, 1994 in Pine Bluff; sons, Terry Foster, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas, Adam Foster of Norman, Oklahoma, and Leonard (Pamela) Robinson, Jr. of Walhalla, South Carolina; daughters, Frankie (Terrell) Hargrove of San Augustine, Texas, Eva Lee (Bobby) Price of Odessa, Texas, and Nomie (Darrell) Kee of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, J. B. Maggard of Elverta, California and Roger Maggard of Rio Linda, California; sisters, Anna (Bill) Fewless of Hardin, Montana, Ancie Southern of Oroville, California, Rita (Dale) Erwin of Elverta, California, Linda Maggard and Valerie Parsley, both of Rio Linda, California; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Larry Foster and William Maggard, and a daughter, Velma Robinson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2014, 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor LaVara Henry officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.
