Sue Ellen (Benskin) Oden

Sue Benskin Oden, 52, of Kensett, passed away April 8, 2015 at White County Medical Center.  She was born January 13, 1963 in Pleasant Plains to the late Alfred and Rosie Palmer Benskin.
Sue was a loving mother and grandmother; her grandchildren were her everything.  Prior to her failing health, she was employed with The Daily Citizen for seven years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Johnny Benskin; and one sister, Mary Hale.
Her memory will be cherished by two sons, Dewey Oden of Warren, Arkansas and Kevin Oden (Tawnie) of Kensett; two sisters, Rita Hendrix of Judsonia and Cheryl Fulbright of McRae; two grandsons, Mitchell Oden and Gabriel White; four granddaughters, Tatiyana Oden, Trinitie Oden, Jadeyn Oden and Maya White; a loving companion of 22 years, Don Chisum; as well as a host of other extended family and friends.
Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Sullivan Funeral Care.  Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Kensett Cemetery.
