Steven Thomas Butler, age 59, of Vilonia, passed away Tuesday, January 5th, 2021, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Steve was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Clarence and Sue Butler. He was a Christian in the Pentecostal faith. He served in the United States Army in the 10th Mountain Division. He was a Tang Soo Do Martial Artist, and a proud member of the National Riffle Association. He enjoyed studying genealogy, fishing, spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren. He also spent time taking his family arrowhead hunting, hiking and shooting.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Krystal Goodwin (Josh) of Vilonia; Stephanie Hantz (Josh) of Conway; two brothers, Allen Butler of Houston, Missouri; Mike Butler of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one sister, Peggy Butler-Taylor of Black Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Kyra Goodwin of Vilonia, and Kayla Hantz of Conway; his best friend, Terry Hall of Conway, as well a host of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Kimberly Butler.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, January 9th, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel 1134 Main Street Vilonia, AR 72173 with cremation following.
Vilonia Funeral Home is attempting to follow all COVID-19 Health Department guidelines. Attendees over the age of 10 should wear their own mask and maintain a social distance of 6 feet.
The family will announce a memorial service at New Life Gospel Church in Black Rock, Arkansas at a later date.
