Stephen Douglas Scott

Stephen Douglas Scott age 43 of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011. Stephen was born July 16, 1968 in Warren, Arkansas the son of the late Gary F. Scott and Toni (Spears) Simas. Stephen was a 1986 graduate of Pine Bluff High School. He proudly served our nation in the United States Navy and was a past volunteer firefighter for the Sheridan Fire Department. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Gary F. Scott and grandparents, Ben and Anna Lee. Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Kim Scott of Sheridan; children, Sarah Scott, Nathan Scott, Kelly Killingsworth, Nikki Killingsworth, Cody Williams and Sierra Williams; mother and step-father, Joseph and Toni Spears of Watson Chapel; brother, Charles Scott of Pine Bluff; sisters, Kimberly Holt of Gentry and Bobbie Lynn Runion of Pine Bluff; grandmother, Mrs. Wreatha Moore of Sheridan; four grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended family members and a host of friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas. Graveside funeral service with military honors will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Arkansas with Bro. Paul Williams officiating.
