Sidney (Hedden) Weaver

Sidney Weaver, 79, of Searcy, passed away September 2, 2021 at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born June 21, 1942 at Penrose, Arkansas to the late Floyd and Bertha Langley Hedden.
Sidney, better known to many as Momma, Sister, Grandnanny, or Aunt Sid, loved her family and loved cooking which was perfect because the whole family loved eating!  She embodied the old school methods of life and medicine.  Everyone who knew her, knew she was the one to ask if there was a problem or ailment, because she always had advice or a remedy ready.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lou Hedden, and Robin Hedden; three brothers, Preston, John Floyd Hedden, and Ben Tennis.
She is survived by two sons, Bill Weaver of Jonesboro and Darian Weaver (Samantha) of Searcy; three grandchildren, Sara Grace Weaver, Wyatt Barnes, Josh Weaver (Chaney); siblings, Becky Kyle (Johnny), Nellie Davis (Randy), Sherri Miller (David), Serita Shadrick (Michael), and Julia Pyburn; a dear friend, Becca Marrow; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1-3 Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett with cremation to follow.
