Sidney Scudder, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and craftsman, peacefully passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on September 29, 1951, Sidney dedicated his life to woodworking, a craft through which he transformed raw materials into beautiful creations. His passion for the art was evident in every project he undertook, showcasing not only his skills but also his deep love for helping others through his work.

Apart from his craft, Sidney was a cherished member of the 4 Mile Hill Church, where he built close connections within his community. His warm personality and willingness to lend a helping hand left a lasting impact on many lives, embodying the spirit of compassion and generosity.

Sidney is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Scudder, who stood by his side through all of life's journeys. He is also survived by his children: Valerie Leasure-West, John Golden, Karla Hurst, Amber Lawrence, and Jason Scudder. His legacy continues through his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of his life.

He is also remembered by his siblings, Frank, Barney, Regina, and Ellen, who shared many cherished memories with him. Sidney was predeceased by his parents as well as his siblings, Jimmy, Gwen, and Mary Etta.

Sidney's life was a testament to his character, demonstrating love, craftsmanship, and community spirit. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a rich tapestry of memories, love, and inspiration for future generations.
