Shirley Sue (Mathis) Springer

Shirley Sue Mathis Springer, 71, of Searcy, formerly of Germantown, Tenn., went to be with her Lord February 26, 2015 at Searcy Healthcare. She was born December 4, 1943 in Wardell, Missouri to the late Harry and Mable Mathis. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry N. Springer; brother, Bill Mathis; and sister, Anita Mathis.
A longtime resident of Germantown, Tenn., Shirley and her late husband owned and operated Henry Springer Collections in Memphis.
She is survived by two sisters, Carol Pyeatt of Searcy, Ark., and Pat Ward of Scott City, Mo.; and two brothers, Harry Mathis of Warrengton, Mo., and Don Mathis of Foley, Mo.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Idlewild Presbyterian Church in Memphis.
