Shirley Kimbrell

Shirley Kimbrell, 68, of the Herbine Community near Rison died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born November 30, 1939, in Warren, a daughter of the late Walter Ezell and Dora Glover Ezell. Ms. Kimbrell was a Baptist, homemaker, and poultry farmer for Tyson Foods. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hughie Kimbrell and son Tony Scott Kimbrell.

Ms. Kimbrell is survived by two sons and daughter in law Danny Ray and Penny Howard of Warren, and Richard DeWayne Kimbrell of Herbine; two brothers Henry Ezell of Baytown, Texas, and Charles Ezell of Cabot; three sisters, Jewel Dean Hayes of Monticello, Earnestine Thompson of White Hall, and Jackie Johnson of Hermitage; six grandchildren, Tony Howard and Whitney Howard both of Warren, Eden Kimbrell, Sarah Kimbrell, Racheal Kimbrell and Caleb Bo Kimbrell all of Woodlawn.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison with Brother J.P. Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Danny Burt Works, Gary Gavin, Marty Howard, Marty Forrest, Danny Joe Young, Jerry Curry, Luke Kimbrell, and Rocky Kimbrell.
