Sherry Ann Hurst

Sherry Ann Hurst, born on February 26, 1941 passed away in Fordyce, Arkansas on January 17, 2024. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, William Henderson "Bill" Kimbrough and Julia Lee (Pemberton) Kimbrough, her siblings, J.C. Caldwell, Robert Garfield Tucker, William Taylor Kimbrough, Barbara Jean Kimbrough, Brenda Joyce McGhee, Vernon Havis Kimbrough and Elbert Dean Kimbrough, her son, Mark Anthony Harvill, her daughter, Cyndee Harvill Byrd, her great grandson, David William Setell Stewart, and her husbands, Jesse Leon Harvill and Miles William "Dub" Hurst.

She leaves behind to cherish the memories made, her sons, Gary Harvill of Kingsland, Randall Harvill and wife Lisa of Fordyce, Gary Lee Harvill of California, and Jessie Harvill of Dumas. Her grandchildren, Ryan Hill and husband, Albert, Reagan Harvill, Billy Stewart, and LeeAnn Davis, and great grandchildren, Helen Diane Stewart, Robert Stewart and Taylor Grace Knight. Sherry was loved by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Sherry was a lady who drank her coffee with her pinky out and would always have her legs crossed. She was also very stubborn and could put you in your place with just a simple lift of her eyebrows. She loved music, dancing, and having a good time with everyone. She loved all animals and children, and could never resist a yard sale or flea market.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. John's Place and DCMC for their love and care. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Rowell Cemetery.
