Sherion Kay Smith

Sherion Kay Reid Smith, age 58, of Redfield, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born July 10, 1953 in Westfield, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Thomas W. Reid and Belvia Mae (Reed) Reid. Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Rison High School. She was a homemaker and member of Bethel Number One Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was a loving and giving person.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Smith of Redfield; two sons and daughter-in-law, Floyd and Lesia Harper of Monticello, Troy Harper of Little Rock; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Karen Cummings of Hamilton, Missouri, John and Karen Reid of Lawson, Missouri, Roy and Sherri Cummings of Springdale, Alfred and Dawn Cummings of Rison; two sisters and brother-in-law, Mille and Steve Gray of Rison, Frances Parker of Machipongo, Virginia; two grandchildren, Austin and Kassie Harper of Monticello.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Bethel Number One Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jim Tollison officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2011 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Memorials may be made to Bethel Number One Missionary Baptist Church Family Life Center, P. O.
