Sharon Corrine Saunders

Sharon Corrine Saunders, age 57, of Rison, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was born December 30, 1958 in Rison, the daughter of the late Harry Woods and Claudie Harden Woods. Mrs. Saunders was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Saunders and brother, Edward Bryon Woods.

Left to cherish her memory, son, Ryan Saunders of Rison; daughters, Sylinda Furgason and husband, Robert of White Hall, Kelly Freeman and husband, Greg of Davenport, Iowa, and Laura Clayton and husband, Alexander of Ward; brothers, Harry Woods and wife, Mae, Bobby Woods, and Marshall Woods, all of Rison; sisters, Lillie King, Laverne Woods, and Dianne Woods, all of Rison; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Don Breshears officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Rison. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are William King, Jerry Gossett, Ben Woods, Jeffrey Smith, Joseph Smith, Jeremy Weaver, Ryan Reed, and Tim Brown. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
