Sharon Ann Hagler

Sharon Ann Hagler "Silver Legs", of Vilonia, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in Conway Regional Medical Center on May 20, 2018 at the age of 72. Sharon was born on March 10, 1946 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to James Thomas and Ida Mae (Rogers) Anglin.  Sharon was a post polio survivor from the age of six. She enjoyed watching T.V., crocheting, reading, napping, and knitting. She was well loved and known as mamaw to everyone. She said, "She would never grow up", and loved being one of the kids. Sharon is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Roy Hagler of Vilonia; daughter, Tammie Jean Smithwick of Vilonia; sister, Effie Peters of California; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Rodney Anglin and Thomas Anglin; and sister, Anita Fratesi . Family and friends will gather for a time of visitation on Friday, May 25th, 2018 from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM at Vilonia First Assembly of God. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM, Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia, with Pastor John Wimberly and Pastor James King officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be considered to assist with funeral costs.
