Shannon Wade Threlkeld

Shannon Wade Threlkeld, age 41, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born September 6, 1972 in Sheridan, the son of the late Sydney Rex Threlkeld and Sharon Mooney Threlkeld. Mr. Threlkeld was a stay at home dad and referred to himself as "maw-daddy". He enjoyed bonfire parties with his family and friends and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. Mr. Threlkeld is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Threlkeld of Sheridan; son, Hunter Wade Threlkeld of Sheridan; daughter, Jasmine Leann Thomas of Sheridan; brothers, Steve Threlkeld and Tony Threlkeld; sisters, Dana Weeks and husband, Dwight of Alpine, Dee Dillion of Lonoke, and Sherry Threlkeld; niece, Sarah O'Steen; nephew, Little Scott O'Steen; and many other nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends that will miss him dearly. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Buie Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home.
