Shannon D. Ingram, age 66, of the Y Community near Rison, Arkansas, passed away October 18, 2014. She was born April 23, 1948 in Fordyce, a daughter of the late Claude Elbert Lutrell and Ira Mae Brewer Lutrell. Mrs. Ingram was a faithful member of Rison Church of Christ, where she was a sunday school teacher and always volunteered to help with Vacation Bible School. She was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School but was an avid Rison Wildcats football fan. Mrs. Ingram was a 19 year employee of the Cleveland County Herald. Anyone that had the pleasure to meet Mrs. Ingram knew that she loved everyone and enjoyed people. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 24 years, Bill Ingram whom she married in April of 1990; one son, Matthew Ingram and his wife Monica of Rison; one daughter, Shane Hughes and her husband Matt of Russellville; one brother, Dwain Lutrell and his wife Beverly of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Anna Hughes, Jonathan Hughes, Caleb Hughes and Sarah Hughes, all of Russellville; and two nephews, Chad Lutrell and Chad Jarrett. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Rison Church of Christ. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Rison Church of Christ with Brother Lanis Lindsey and Reverend Leonard Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Black Cemetery.
