Scott Lunsford

Scott Lunsford age 48, of Rison, died, Monday, January 28, 2013. He was born April 20, 1964 in Pine Bluff, a son of Leroy and Mary Frances Kimbrell Lunsford. Mr. Lunsford was a 1982 graduate of Rison High School. He was employed by Lunsford Family Farms where he was a chicken grower for Tyson. Mr. Lunsford loved being outdoors, fishing, boating and hunting, and was a Baptist. Mr. Lunsford was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Lunsford; his grandparents, Clifton and Lucy Kimbrell, Roy Jewell Lunsford and Mary Melinda Lunsford. Mr. Lunsford is survived by his parents, Leroy "Tommy" and Mary Frances "Teny" Kimbrell Lunsford of Rison; son, Jesse Lunsford of Rison; brother, Randy Lunsford of Rison; sister, Joni Harris of Rye; grandson, Hayden Lunsford of Rison. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Joseph Stacks and Brother Brian Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Gerald Brown, Johnny Lunsford, David Lunsford, John David Rodgers, Rusty White, Wesley Williams, Tom Rodgers and Brian Bell.
