Sandra Liane (Evans) Sharpe, age 85, of Vilonia, Arkansas, joined the church triumphant on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, surrounded by family at her home in Vilonia. She was born February 29th, 1936, in Youngstown, Ohio to Myron and Glendora Evans.
Sandy worked as an Office Administrator for Perrier/Nestle Water Group until her retirement in 2005. She was a fifty-seven year member of Sweet Adelines International where she could sing all parts a cappella. She was a music coach, director, composer and arranger of various projects with many copyrighted works. She was an accomplished pianist learning to play the piano as as a child. She had a heart for Gods little creatures, especially cats and dogs that she would devote her time and energy to rescue.
She was an active member in the Methodist faith and a fifteen year member of the Vilonia United Methodist Church, a member of the Red Hat Society, a volunteer and social butterfly at the Vilonia Senior Citizens Center; where she enjoyed working and getting involved in the various activities there. She also volunteered to call Bingo at Stonebridge Senior Living in Conway.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Jeannie and son-in-law, Ric Mayhan of Vilonia; daughter-in-law, Nancy Molter of Highland, California; four grandchildren, Michelle Boutault and Renee Boutault both of Vilonia; David Molter of California; Evan Molter (Maria) of California; two step-grandchildren, Robert Mayhan of Heber Springs, Arkansas; Kristen Mauldin (Blake) of Wooster, Arkansas; six great-grandchildren, Nicholas Boutault, Emilie Boutault, Zachary Edley, Marijane Molter, Emily Molter and Joshua Molter; three step great-grandchildren, Allie Mauldin, Natalie Wilson and Yazmin Wilson, as well as many extended family and friends.
Waiting to greet her with Jesus, were her parents, Myron and Glendora Evans; son, Dave Molter; her brothers, Ron and Dean and many other family and friends.
The family will host a memorial service on Saturday at 10:00 am, November 6, 2021, at Vilonia United Methodist Church, 5 S. Church St, Vilonia, AR 72173, with Pastor Lauren DeLano officiating. For more information concerning the service, contact Vilonia United Methodist Church at 501-796-2624.
