Sandra Kay Johnston

Sandra Kay Johnston, aged 77, of Woodlawn, Arkansas, passed away on February 10, 2025. She was born on June 12, 1947, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Curtis William Box and Ruth Allen Reed.

Sandra enjoyed camping, horseback riding, spending quality time with her loved ones and was an amazing cook.

She was a beautiful lady who cared deeply for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nonie. Her unconditional love knew no bounds, and she took immense pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow and succeed. Their happiness meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was deeply loved by her family and friends. The void left by her absence is felt by all who were blessed to have her in their life.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald Johnston, and her children, Chris Alexander, Amy Kalkbrenner (Rudy), and Reed Johnston (Heather). Her legacy will continue through her grandchildren, Jonathan Alexander, Daniel Alexander, Matthew Kalkbrenner, Michael Kalkbrenner, Caleb Kalkbrenner, Tyler Ledbetter, Quinton Ledbetter, Zoe Ledbetter, and Jacob Johnston, as well as four great-grandchildren.

Her memory will forever be treasured in our hearts.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and her stepdaughter Laura Ledbetter.

Visitation for Sandra Kay Johnston will be held on February 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rowell Cemetery, Rison, Arkansas. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at the same location from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
