Ruth Hazel Weaver

Ruth Hazel Weaver, age 76 of Warren died, Saturday October 13, 2007 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren. She was born October 17, 1930 in the Macedonia Community near New Edinburg, a daughter of the late Duncan and Iva Thompson McClellan. Mrs. Weaver graduated from New Edinburg High School in 1947. She was a receptionist for Bradley County Medical Center in Warren for fifteen years, a homemaker and a member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Weaver was also preceded in death by her husband James Henry Weaver on February 11, 1995; two sons, Bobby Lee Weaver, Billy Rex Weaver; one grandchild, Joylina Reale Weaver.

Mrs. Weaver is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Wayne and Mary Lou Weaver, Danny Ray Weaver, all of Warren; two brothers, Thomas Doyle McClellan of Shreveport, Louisiana, Leonard Faye McClellan of the Macedonia Community near New Edinburg; one sister, Edith Sue McClellan of the Macedonia Community near New Edinburg six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Reeves Cemetery near New Edinburg with Brother Elbert McClellan officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Fairview Free Will Baptist Church in Warren.
