Ruby Rauls

Ruby Rauls, 99, of Rison went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2014. She was born May 24, 1915 in Meridian, Mississippi, daughter of the late David Brown and Nancy Simmons Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clother Rauls. Mrs. Rauls was homemaker and of Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed singing, reading, and spending time with her family. Survivors include, two special nieces, Barbara (Donnie) Griffin of Rison and Charlene Brandon of Rison; a host of nieces, Willie Mae Jones, Joyce Rauls, Dora Rauls, Patricia (Rick) Brandon all of Rison, Lillie (Tony) Fletcher of Pine Bluff, Betty Higgins of Little Rock; nephews, Grant Rauls Jr. and Andre (Tara) Rauls all of Rison; Sister in law, Renner Rauls of Pine Bluff; Caregivers, Connie Watson, Heidi Rauls, Beverly Frye, and many other cherished family members. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m., Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2014 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Melvin Rauls officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Andre Rauls, Grant Rauls Jr., Danny Rauls, Johnny Johnson, Clarence Rauls, and Donnie Griffin. Funeral arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison. (870) 325-6216.
