Ruby Anna Alexander

Ruby A. Alexander, of Bryant, passed into her heavenly home on May 15, 2015 at the age of 96. She was born April 16, 1919 in Double Wells, Arkansas to the late Garland and Arva Davis. Mrs. Alexander is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Frank R. Alexander; and son, Garland F. Alexander. She is survived by two sons, Russell Alexander and his wife, Jo Ann of Bryant and Charles Alexander and his wife, Mary of O'Fallon, Illinois; daughter-in-law, Betty Alexander of Benton; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 22, 2015 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 2546 Providence Road, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m., at Providence Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Branch Cemetery on Lee Springs Road. Pallbearers are Garland F. Alexander, Jr., Frank Alexander, Scotty Moyer, Spencer Moyer, Fisher Alexander, and Russell D. Alexander. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.
