After a well and fulfilled life, Roxieann Walton Foster, 59, resident of the Chapman Community, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 17, 2018 in the comfort of her home following an extended illness.

Funeral Services remembering the beautiful life of Mrs. Foster will be at 2 PM Thursday December 20 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with words of comfort given by her pastor, Bro. Bill Foley. Personal Reflections will be given by long time friend, Arnold Witt. Special Music will be provided by Kristy Jumper. Graveside Services will be at 2 PM Friday December 21 at Taylor Cemetery in her hometown of Leola, AR.
Born November 22, 1959 in Malvern, AR, she is the daughter of Betty Welch Walton of Leola, AR and the late Theodore Dale Walton. Roxieann was a 1978 graduate and Valedictorian of Leola High School and continued her education at Blue Mountain College where she graduated summa cum laude in 2003. On May 19, 1978 she married her faithful husband of 40 years , Keith L. Foster, who survives.
Roxieann and her family moved to Tippah County and lived in the Chapman Community for the past 24 years. A lifetime Baptist, she was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, a devout Christian and a person of deep faith.
An outstanding teacher, Roxieann built strong relationships with her students and fellow teachers. She was employed by the Pine Grove School System for the past 20 years, serving five years as a teacher's assistant and fifteen years as a 5th Grade teacher. An athlete throughout her life, she will be remembered for her love of softball and basketball. Roxieann found pleasure as a softball coach for her daughters and enjoyed attending sporting events that often included her children's participation.
Through her love of God, church involvement and teaching, Roxieann made many special friendships that lasted a lifetime. Her faith in God and love of family and friends sustained her and helped her maintain a sweet, serene dignity through much suffering during her illness. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation for Roxieann will continue today from 1 PM to 2 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Her memory will also be cherished by three daughters, Linda Louise Alyami (Saraj) of Martinsburg, WV, Dana Marie Willams and Madison Jane Foster, both of Ripley, one son, Steven Keith Foster (Savannah) of Ripley, one sister, Penny Lynn Chidester (Kirk) of Poyen, AR, one brother, Dusty Walton (Joann) of Leola, AR , her seven wonderful grandchildren, Jacie, Clayton, Bella, Cason and Caleb Williams, Aliyah and Sammy Alyami and many friends.
