Ronnie C. Phillips

Ronnie C. Phillips, age 67, of Rison went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Mr. Phillips was born May 14, 1948 in Rison, a son of the late Clyde Otis Phillips and Beatrice Louise Phillips Beck. He graduated from Rison High School and was a Wildcat fan. Ronnie married Kaye Davis on January 14, 1972. Mr. Phillips retired from the Arkansas Highway Department after many years of service. He had a special love for all animals, especially his cats and his horse. One of his favorite outdoor hobbies was riding his horse. Ronnie was a faithful member of Rison Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir and serving on the benevolence committee. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife of forty-three years, Kaye Davis Phillips of Rison; brother, Roger Phillips of Rison; sisters, Vanita Phillips Hendricks of Woodlawn, Cindy Phillips Beatty of Rison and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Rison Baptist Church with Brother Danny Allen and Brother Wade Totty officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison. Visitation will be 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church. Memorials can be made to Rison Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
