Ron Cooper

Ron Cooper, age 64, of Leola, went to see the Lord, Sunday, July 5, 2015. He was born December 5, 1950 in Long Beach, California, the son of the late Fred Cooper and Patricia Allen Cooper. Mr. Cooper worked at Dorey Fish Farm, and then was employed at Kholer for 11 years. He was a member of Leola Methodist Church. Mr. Cooper loved to joke around. He had a hug and a kiss for everyone. Mr. Cooper was such a kind, loving person and was proud to be a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed his music and loved to reminisce about his buddies. Mr. Cooper is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dale Cooper; brother-in-law, Joe Wyatt; and best friend, Jack Keller. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Christine Cooper; sons, Jessie Cooper of California, John Wyatt, and Gary Huggins, both of Leola; daughter, Casandra Faulkner of California; brother, Packy Cooper and his wife, Nancy of Leola; sister, Tammy Johnson and her husband, Alex of California; Rick C. and Carla Keller, who were like a brother and sister to Mr. Cooper; and his closet buddies, Terry S., Mike N., Mark K., Mike Kennedy, Robin, and Nate. Memorial services are 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Leola Missionary Baptist Church in Leola. Cremation arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
