Roger Dale Wilson Sr

Roger Dale Wilson Sr. age 65 of Sheridan, died Friday, October 8, 2010 at his home. He was born May 7, 1945 in Longview, Texas a son of Wilma Housley Wilson and the late Walter Jay Wilson. Mr. Wilson was an employee of Reynolds Metal, enjoyed the outdoors and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Mike, and Wayne Wilson.

Survivors include his wife, Emmie Wilson of Sheridan; mother, Wilma Wilson of Sheridan; son, Roger Wilson Jr. of Sheridan; daughters, Angela (James) Heird of Bryant, Dana (Michael) Derrick of Sheridan, Toni Renee Wilson of Sheridan; grandchildren, Joey Wilson, Ashley Derrick, Jessica Wilson Bates, Alicia White Brantley, Charles White IV, Donavin Reynolds, Jade Heird, Jocelyn Heird, Jake Heird, Brandi Howey, Mika Wilson; great-grandchildern, Felicity Hope Brantley, Dayvinie Marie Brantley, and one brother, Richard Wilson of Sheridan.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Center Campground Cemetery in Sheridan with Brother Roy Polk officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870 9423231).
