Roger Everett Williams

Roger Everett Williams, age 85 of White Hall, died, Monday, March 13, 2023. He was born September 9, 1937 in Rison, a son of the late Milton Everett and Gertrude Williams. Mr. Williams graduated from Rison High School then entered the United States Army, where he served as a cook in Germany. Upon his return, he lived in Illinois for a time before returning to Pine Bluff, where he began his career with the Cotton Belt Railroad as an Engineer. He took pride in being an Engineer and continued to work for Southern Pacific and Union Pacific. Mr. Williams loved researching his family history, fishing and touring with family and friends in a bluegrass band.  He was also preceded in death by his older brother, James Williams and an infant brother.

Mr. Williams is survived his daughter, Leigh Ann Williams; twin granddaughters, Caroline Weaver and Elizabeth Weaver; niece, Jennifer Williams Futrell; nephew, Mark Williams.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison.
