Roe Junior Moore, age 78, of Prattsville passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs. He was born August 13, 1937 in Grant County, the son of the late Henry Clifton Moore and Lois Iva Ray Moore. For many years, Mr. Moore worked as a salesman for Sherwin Williams and Darrah Feed Store. He was a Past Grand Master of the Westwood Masonic Lodge #353. Mr. Moore was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, a clown for the Seminar Shrine. He was also a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James H. Moore and David Moore; sister, Charleen Graves; and wife, Henriette Moore.

Left to cherish his memory, daughter, Melody Shoptaw and her husband, Michael of Benton; sister, Jan McNeil of Pangburn; sister-in-law, Wanda Moore of Prattsville; grandchildren, Scott Shoptaw and his wife, Allyson, C.J. Shoptaw and his wife, Randie, and Larkin Armstrong; and great-grandchildren, Dakotah, Charley, Aleah June, Mattis, Gavin, and Addyson.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2016 at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Brother Don Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Pallbearers are Larry Moore, Tom McNeil, Rick Graves, Chuck Graves, Tony Speer, and Harold Holiman. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
