Rodney D. York

Rodney D. York age 35 of Euless, Texas died Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born January 1, 1975 in Bridgeport, Texas, a son of the late Rosco York and Evelyn Hudson Dawson of Chico, Texas. Mr. York married Wendy Ellison on December 31, 2002 in Bay Minette, Alabama. He loved spending time with his wife and children, hunting, and fishing. Mr. York was a truck driver and a Baptist. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Stevie York and Guenn Peyton.

Mr. York is survived by his wife of nine years, Wendy York of Euless, Texas; daughters, Shelby York and Madison York, both of Euless, Texas; step sons, Spencer and Trent Frye of Rison; mother, Evelyn Dawson of Chico, Texas; brothers, Larry York of Amarillo, Texas and Danny York of Lovelady, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Jim Cole of Alvord, Brenda and Clarence Heppe of Rochester, Washington.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Moores Church Cemetery with Brother Wade Totty officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
