Robert Wesley Horton

Robert "Robbie" Wesley Horton went to be with the Lord on August 03, 2019 in Vilonia, Arkansas at the age of 49. Robbie was born on June 24, 1970 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Robert Lynn Horton and Dorothy Irene Hopkins. He graduated from Vilonia High School in 1988 and was a football player. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a very outgoing personality and because of this, he had many friends. He especially loved all of his family. Robbie is survived by his grandmother, Marie Hopkins of Vilonia; sister, Tara Fason (Brian) of Spring, Texas; three brothers, Chet Spradlin of Vilonia; Jerry Horton of Paris, Missouri; Ken Horton of Willmar, Minnesota; sister-in-law, Gail Horton of Clark, Missouri; two nephews, Connor Fason of Spring, Texas; Lee Horton (Angel) of Clark, Missouri; niece, Emily Hazel (Kenny) of Clark, Missouri; two uncles, Bill Hopkins (Marsha) of Conway; Joe Hopkins (Charlene) of Berryville, Virginia; and cousins, Kristin Jenkins (Andy); and Joey Jenkins all of Berryville, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Hopkins, father, Robert Horton, and grandfather, Henry Hopkins. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at Oak Bowery Baptist Church with Brother Tim Nolan Officiating. Pallbearers are Rick Waller, Michael Waller, Walter Gillham, Kevin Brannon, Gene Martin, and Cameron Bartlett. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service also at the church. Burial will follow at New Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Vilonia Funeral Home and Cremation, 1134 Main Street, Vilonia, AR 72173.
