Robert “Edd” Sullivan, 70, of Bald Knob, passed away at his residence October 17, 2017 at 1:05 a.m. following a courageous battle with a long illness. He was born October 29, 1946 at Fayetteville, Tennessee to the late Robert “Ed” Sullivan and Louise Ready Sullivan.
Edd never met a stranger and lived life to its fullest, including skydiving. He was a world traveler, working as an industrial agricultural engineer in Hong Kong, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. He was last employed by B & J Construction of Bald Knob and as an independent consultant.
He is survived by a daughter Lisa Sullivan Greene and husband Gene of Nashville; grandchildren, Stephanie Commiskey of Nashville, and Mitchell Greene of Nashville; his devoted loving companion, Linda Osburn and her children, Pam Osburn, Samantha Bright (Jimmy) and TL Osburn (Ellen); their children, Alex Strickland, Andrew Martin, Annaleece Osburn, Ashlyn Bryant, and Lillian Osburn.
Memorial services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Care of Kensett.
