Robert Ira (Pappaw) Roberts

Robert Ira (Pappaw) Roberts, age 68 of Pine Bluff died, Monday, July 18, 2011 at Gardner Nursing Home in Star City. He was born February 22, 1943 in Pine Bluff, a son of the late Alexander Roberts and Irene Brown Roberts. Mr. Roberts was a graduate of Rison High School; and a fork lift driver for Hoover Treated Wood before his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Roberts liked watching television, tending to his animals and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Drew Roberts; two grandchildren, Adam Roberts, Stormy Roberts; two brothers, Floyd Roberts, Jimmie Roberts; one sister, Lucille Cleveland.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Cathy Roberts of Pine Bluff; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Dawn Roberts of Pine Bluff, Richard Roberts of Gallup, New Mexico; two daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Eddie Henderson, Barbara Coats, all of Pine Bluff; four brothers, Joe H. Roberts, Joe Carl Roberts, both of Pine Bluff, Olan Roberts of Trucksville, and D L Roberts of Sheridan; one sister, Gracie Brown of Pine Bluff; eleven grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Edward, Brittainy, Brice, Kendell, Tristan, Amy, Kristian, Francis and Corey; thirteen great grandchildren, Brayden, Hayden, Joshua, Logan, Ethan, Gracie, Landon, Haley, Isabella, Andrew, Adrea, Hunter, and Mason.
