Robert "Bob" P. Coleman

Mr. Robert P. "Bob" Coleman, age 72, of Rison, passed away, Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his home. He was born April 22, 1940 in Hollywood, California, a son of the late Robert P. Coleman Sr., and Edna Wassau Coleman. Mr. Coleman served his country in the United States Navy at Long Beach, California. He was a member of the Burbank Police Department and a self employed printer and lock smith. Mr. Coleman was of the Lutheran faith. He was a kind, gentle and soft spoken man, who loved his family, his hobbies and his four legged companions, Molly and Megan. Mr. Coleman's hobbies included carpentry and wood working, where he was quite skilled. He will surely be missed by all of his family, and all who knew him. Mr. Coleman is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years, Johnette Coker Coleman of Rison; three sons, Earl Coleman, Joel Coleman and William Coleman, all of California; two step daughters, Laurie Zamora of Grants Pass, Oregon, Amy Vidal of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, William Coleman of California; eight grandchildren and step grandchildren.
