Ricky Leroy Lunsford

Ricky Leroy Lunsford age 55 of Rison, died Saturday, March 22, 2008 at his home. He was born June 23, 1952, in Rison, a son of Leroy Tommy and Mary Frances Kimbrell Lunsford. Mr. Lunsford graduated from Rison High School in 1970. He married Pam Neal on November 13, 1970. Mr. Lunsford formerly worked for Georgia Pacific in Pine Bluff. He was a poultry farmer for Tyson Foods. Mr. Lunsford was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he currently served as Sunday School Superintendant. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clifton and Lucy Kimbrell, Roy Jewell Lunsford, Mary Melinda Lunsford.

Mr. Lunsford is survived by his wife, Pam Neal Lunsford of Rison; parents, Leroy Tommy and Mary Frances Kimbrell Lunsford of Rison; one son and daughter-in-law, Mitch and Sarah Lunsford of Woodlawn; one daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Greg Bradshaw of Rison; two brothers, Randy Lunsford, Scott Lunsford, both of Rison; one sister and brother-in-law, Joni and Anthony Harris of Woodlawn; four grandchildren, Cody Lunsford and Dillon Lunsford of Woodlawn, Caleb Bradshaw and Presley Bradshaw of Rison.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Rison with Brother Joseph Stacks and Brother David Leopard officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery near Rison. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Memorials may be made to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Rob Pierce, Tony White, Jerry Bowlin, Doyle Taylor, Chris Rauls, Wade Morrison and Randy Rawls.
